Brittany Traynor ENT3003 – Bug List Assignment Due: 09/01/17 1. My car is a 2004 Honda Accord. This car, like many others, has the automatic lock feature that bothers me. · I feel it is there because it is a safety feature, but it is annoying because I have gotten locked out of my car multiple times. 2. The 2004 Honda Accord also has a touch screen that controls the radio and air conditioning, and this screen takes about 20-25 seconds to activate once the car is turned on. This bugs me because I am impatient and do not want to wait in the heat to turn the air on. · I am not sure if it is intentional or not since it is an old car, but I do not see any purpose as to this feature. 3. The Steak & Shake on Southwest 13 th Street in Gainesville always has the longest lines and the slowest service. I cannot stand to go there because of this. · I guess since it is a college t...

Evidentially, when coal is burned in a power plant, a lava-like substance called slag is formed. Although many power plants require the boiler to be turned off if workers are present, Tampa Electric does not. As a result, maintenance workers were struck with slag and killed. The problem in...
Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2
Brittany Traynor ENT3003 Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2 Due: 10/13/17 Segment: Freshmen at the University of Florida who live on campus and are on an on-campus meal plan. I chose this segment as these are the students who I predict use their student ID’s most frequently on a day-to-day basis. Asking about alternative evaluation- Students who currently have the need for a mobile student ID mostly seem to have this need for convenience. Based on the three students who I interviewed, the currently find other strange ways of ensuring that they always have their student ID on them, but this is not fool proof and some of these methods seem just inconvenient. One of the students who I talked to said that she currently pops off her phone case and places her Debit card and Gator1 ID in the back of her phone case. Although this may be better than having to move ID’s between wallets and purses, this just seems ann...
Hey Brittany!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed listening to your elevator pitch. You did an excellent job explaining why this app would be useful to students. I would personally love for this app to exist, because there have been times when I've got to an exam and forgot my ID! I did think you could be a little more animated explaining your idea. Using different vocal tones and body expressions could help a little. But overall, great pitch, I would invest!!
Hi Brittany!
ReplyDeleteYour elevator pitch was great. You did an awesome job with your introduction. This idea would be so useful to our next generation and I would definitely want to download this app onto my phone. Colleges would definitely want to invest in this because it would make not only their student's lives easier, but their faculty members as well. Professors will no longer need to figure out how to deal with a student who is trying to take an exam with no ID on them. Great job!

Hey Brittany,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your elevator pitch I think you delivered it very well. I think you should follow through with this idea and keep your enthusiasm as you continue with this idea. You should try and expand to all the kinds of consumers you can. You should also think how this idea can work in the future too and great post!
